About RTO Kit关于 RTO Kit
The employee-side resource for return-to-office rights — built for people, not for employers.面向员工一侧的返岗权益资源——为劳动者而非雇主而建。
Our mission我们的使命
Return-to-office mandates shifted enormous power back to employers: weaker candidates now negotiate offers half-blind, probation employees are told to choose between their commute and their job, remote workers discover they may owe tax in two states, and "RTO" quietly becomes a layoff strategy. Official agency websites are excellent — but they are written for everyone and organized by bureaucracy, not by the moment you are living through.
RTO Kit exists to translate that bureaucratic machinery into tools and guides organized around the employee lifecycle: job search, probation, ADA and caregiver exemptions, proximity bias, cross-state law and tax, and soft-layoff response — every step of the way, on your side of the table.
RTO Kit 的存在,就是把这套官僚机器翻译成围绕员工生命周期组织的工具与指南:求职、试用期、ADA 与看护豁免、就近偏见、跨州法律与税务、软裁员应对——全程站在桌子你的这一边。

Our privacy principle: local-first, zero tracking
Legal information is sensitive. The last thing you want is a broker of "RTO resignation" ads profiling you because you checked whether refusing a return-to-office order is risky. So the entire site runs in your browser: no accounts, no tracking cookies, no analytics, no data leaving your device. The only things we store are your language choice and your favorites list — and you can erase both at any time. See our Privacy Policy.
Who writes and reviews this site
Every page is researched, written and edited by the RTO Kit Research Team. Our editorial process: (1) research from primary sources first — statutes, agency guidance, court summaries and reputable reporting; (2) write in plain language and always attach the official link so you can verify; (3) review for tone and compliance — every legal, tax or medical-adjacent page must carry the disclaimer, avoid personalized advice, and be dated. We are not licensed attorneys or CPAs, and we say so on purpose: serious decisions should be made with a licensed professional, and our Disclaimer explains exactly when to stop reading and start calling.
